About: My approach to counseling is one that does not solely focus on the individual themselves but dives deeper to learn about their family, significant others, communities, and culture. I devote my time to recognizing the differences among my clients' worldviews and aim to create a brave space where issues can be discussed freely without them fearing judgement. I view my role as helping clients to enhance their own motivation, increase their understanding of their harmful thoughts and behavior patterns, and to provide support as they develop skills and practice coping strategies that may assist them on their healing journey. As a therapist, my goal is to ensure I do my best to help my clients feel empowered and encouraged as we establish a collaborative therapeutic relationship together and work towards achieving their goals.
